By Carolina Caeiro
The DNS Research Federation and the Association of ccTLDs for Latin America and the Caribbean (LACTLD) have been awarded a LACNIC grant as part of the 2023 funding cycle of the FRIDA program.
The project entitled "Measuring the DNS in Latin America and the Caribbean: towards the development of regional indicators" will focus on developing indicators to measure the evolution of the DNS ecosystem in Latin America and the Caribbean with a focus on ccTLDs. The project will seek to build a data matrix with the main variables for DNS analysis in the region, including data contributions from the ccTLD community in the region, leveraging the DNSRF's DAP.LIVE platform.
The project seeks to advance the understanding of the DNS ecosystem and identify development opportunities for the ccTLD community in Latin America and the Caribbean.
